His certifications include manufacturer training on LiftMaster and Chamberlain opener systems, and he requires the same ongoing education of every technician working under this branch’s name.
What separates Carl from a corporate franchise technician is simple: he’s the one who answers for the work. He lives in the Lake Travis area, shops at the same H-E-B as his customers, and his truck is parked at the same Little League fields on Saturday mornings. He keeps a notebook in his glove box where he writes down the model numbers of doors he’s worked on, the names of dogs who bark at him, and whether a customer prefers a call or a text when he’s ten minutes out.
